Four More Years: The Werthman Slate Re-Elected to Serve Our Membership
In June 2026, the votes were counted, and the message from our membership was loud and clear: the Werthman Slate has been re-elected to another four-year term representing our brothers, sisters, and siblings of our locals.
To every member who took the time to vote, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Your participation is what makes this union strong. Democracy inside the labor movement is the engine that keeps us accountable to the people we serve. We don't take a single vote for granted, and we're humbled by the trust you've placed in this team.

Together, this slate represents hundreds of working members across our locals, members who show up every day, do the work, and expect strong, honest representation in return. That's the standard we want to live up to. We vow to keep fighting for you. We vow to continue growing and improving our capacity to support you.
What This Re-Election Means
A four-year term is a mandate to keep pushing, at the bargaining table, on the job site, in the halls of government, and inside our own halls. Re-election is a vote of confidence in the direction we've been heading, and it's fuel to keep going.
Over the next four years, this team is committed to:
Fighting for stronger contracts. Wages, benefits, safety, and job security remain the core of everything we do. Every contract we negotiate is measured against what our members deserve, not what employers would prefer to give.
Protecting our jurisdiction and our work. The work belongs to our members. Defending it means being present, being organized, and being ready.
Growing the union. A bigger, stronger union means more leverage for every member. Organizing is how we secure the future.
Investing in training and the next generation. The members coming up behind us deserve the same opportunities that were built for us. Apprenticeship, upgrade training, and mentorship stay a top priority.
Showing up for members. Answering the phone. Walking the job. Being visible, accessible, and accountable. Listening. Responding to your questions and conerns. Fighting for what you need. That's the job.
Thank You
To the members, the stewards, the retirees, the families, and everyone who stood with this slate, thank you. This win belongs to all of us.
The work continues. We're proud, we're grateful, and we're ready to continue fighting for you.
In solidarity, Your DC 11 Family
One Union. One Family. One Fight.
